Meet Our Editor

HKWT editor Catherine Forth is a traveler, writer and mom who has lived in nine countries including Australia, Japan, Mexico, the UK and the United States.

Born in Canada, Catherine held a variety of positions in advertising and corporate communications before branching out as a freelance writer and editor, focusing primarily on health, fitness, travel and parenting topics.

She has produced a magazine for expats in Japan, authored a backpacker’s guide to Australia’s Northern Territory and contributed a monthly column to Today’s Parent magazine. As an educator, Catherine produced a home-study math program for elementary students and taught university in Oaxaca, Mexico.

Catherine currently lives in Barbados with her husband Peter and their daughters Riley, 5, and Tessa, 3.
